Iranian feature ‘Disappearance’ is scheduled to be screened at the competition section of the 42nd annual Toronto International Film Festival.
The movie, directed by Ali Askari, and co-produced by Iran and Qatar, depicts the story of a couple, who venture to tackle some problems over a cold winter night, just having a few hours to do so. Trying to conceal things from their parental families, their own relationship turns sour.
The movie’s cast list includes Sadaf Askari, Amir Reza Ranjbaran, Nafise Zar'e, Mohammad Heydari and Sahar Sotoodeh.
The 42nd Toronto International Film Festival is slated for 7-17 September, 2017.
The event is one of the largest publicly attended film festivals worldwide, attracting over 480,000 people annually.
